At Beaux Moments you can enjoy the beautiful life in the Lot.
Our place is an authentic farm in Lieu-dit Dordé near the village of Mauroux.
Here we, Gert & Angela, enjoy the rustic life in the French countryside.

In 2021 we chose to spend more time together
and to live with more attention to all the beauty around us.
We would like to let you enjoy our beautiful characteristic place.
You can start the day here peacefully with a cup of coffee in the morning sun
and make plans for a relaxing or active day.
We look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable holiday in the Lot!

Creating beautiful moments
Angela: 'We have very good memories of guest houses where we warmly
were received, where we spent pleasant evenings, and where we even made friendships.
We also wish to create those beautiful moments for our guests'.

Authentic region
Gert: 'The authenticity of the region, the tranquility, the River Lot and the beautiful landscape is what I like most of the area.
We want our guests to enjoy that too'.

Mauroux is located in the Lot valley. From here you can enjoy a wonderful tour through the vineyards, visit wineries,
discover medieval villages, enjoy the beautiful views, cycle, walk,
or discover the Lot from the water. You can rent canoes at various places nearby,
fish or take a refreshing dip in the water.

The old barn next to the pigeon tower
Coffee under the hood
The barn is a lovely place in the morning sun. This authentic barn is located next to the pigeon tower from 1681. Do you feel like chatting, or do you want tips about the area? While enjoying a cup of coffee, we are happy to inform you about the beautiful valley!
A book by the pool or a refreshing dip
The figure-eight swimming pool is quietly situated on the edge of the orchard. There are lovely sun loungers, parasols and an outdoor shower. The swimming pool is completely at the disposal of the guests of the two gîtes (two to six people) and now and then we swim a few laps ourselves. A nice place for a refreshing dive or a good book!

From the terrace of the gite you look out over this beautiful orchard. There are cherry trees, plum trees, figs and a large old walnut tree. There are many lovely shady spots to relax in.
Hike to Mauroux

From Beaux Moments you can take a lovely walk to the village of Mauroux. You walk along the edge of the forest and after about 25 minutes you are in the center. Here is a village shop, post office, restaurant and fitness trail.
