With us, you can completely unwind and enjoy the beautiful life on the French countryside.

Touring the vineyards, picnicking along the river Lot, reading a book by the pool,

come and enjoy a lovely holiday in the authentic Lot region.

The village of Mauroux is located in the sloping valley of the river Lot.

Here lays our characteristic farm with an old tabacco barn, a big orchard,

a pigeon tower from 1681 and two gîtes.

​

We, Gert & Angela, would like to welcome you at Beaux Moments!

Two comfortable gîtes with pool, airconditioning and orchard view

Our two semi-detached gîtes are located on the edge of the orchard, completely private.

Both gîtes are equipped for two guests (adults only).

Gîte Amélie has a possibility to sleep four. We kindly ask to check the options with us first. 

The gîtes are rustic and comfortably furnished and provided with air conditioning for a pleasant

summer temperature.

Both gîtes have recently been renovated with a new kitchen, new bed and linnen and new furniture.

You can park your car under the abri, which app. 30 meters from the gîtes.

From the terrace you overlook the orchard with cherry and plum trees and the swimming pool.

Every day starts here quietly and relaxed with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning sun.

Characteristic place in a beautiful setting in the Lot Valley

At our authentic and characteristic place you can really unwind and enjoy the beautiful life in

the Lot valley. A good book at the pool, breakfast on your terrace or a refreshing drink

in the orchard. There are seats in the orchard to enjoy a glass of rosé or a cup of tea in the

shade of the fruit trees. The orchard and the pool are completely private for the guests of

both gîtes, max. 6 adults.

The air is very clean in the Lot. This means you can often admire many stars at nights. 

A wonderful end of a lovely day.

Come and enjoy the region of the Lot river

In the vicinity of Beaux Moments you can enjoy walking, cycling and there are many medieval

towns  to visit. A few examples are Puy l'Evéque, Tournon d'Agenais, Penne d'Agenais,

Monflaquin, Villeréal and Monpazier.

Almost every day there is a nice market in the area and at the weekend there are often flea markets.

The area is rich in nuts, truffles, plums and of course wine. 

You can visit many local producers to taste all those lovely local products.

The Malbec grape is mostly grown here from which very nice strong red wines and also rosé

wines are being made.

In the valley you can also tour around and make nice stops at beautiful viewpoints, castles and gardens.
